Music Submission Guidelines

If you have recorded music and you are interested in submitting your music for the show, please review the following guidelines.

Required — You must own the rights to the music yourself or own the rights to publish it on behalf of whoever does. If your music IS on the ‘Podsafe Music Network’ we do not need special permission from you. We do, however, need to know where to find it so that we can verify that it’s there.

Required — If your music IS NOT on the ‘Podsafe Music Network’ you will need to send us an email granting us permission to play your music. Please be specific about which song or songs you would like us to play.

Required — Please tell us where you music can be found on the web and send us links to all relevant web site links.

Optional — We encourage you to record a station id, and/or a brief audio comment with some information about your act and a few words about the songs so that we may include it in the show. If you wish, you may record an mp3 of these comments on your own and send them to us with your other material. You may also call your comments in to our voice mail line (206)202-2549 if you prefer.

Optional — If you have graphics a bio or any other press material that we may use to help promote your music on our web-site we encourage you send them along with your mp3 files.

Required — At this time we only accept audio files in mp3 format encoded at 128kbps or higher. Graphics files must be in .gif or .jpg format and any text documents such as a bio or press release must be in .rtf format.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR FILES AS E-MAIL ATTACHMENTS! We prefer you send us either download links or a service like Yousendit Yousendit is a FREE service that allows you to upload your files to a remote server that subsequently sends a download link to the email address or addresses you specify
